💣 TERRORIST ATTACK ON NEW TOKYO: WHAT WE KNOW
October 29, 2037. A day that will be burned into the memory of every New Tokyo resident.
At approximately 7:30 PM, two individuals launched a coordinated attack on central New Tokyo. Witnesses described explosions, widespread chaos, and some kind of public announcement declaring that "the revolution is coming" and that the city now belonged to them.
Textbook villain debut. Monologue, destruction, threats. Very dramatic. Probably rehearsed.
But here's where things got interesting.
Before the FPU (Fissure Protection Unit) could even fully mobilize, a group of what appeared to be teenagers engaged the terrorists directly. And they weren't just stalling for time. They were actually fighting back. Successfully.
Those teenagers, of course, became known as The Saviors. (Check out my full article on them here!)

- 7:30 PM: Akuma Kura and Anaki Kaosu emerge from a fissure in central New Tokyo. Explosions reported.
- 7:35 PM: Terrorists make public announcement. "The revolution is coming. This city is ours now."
- 7:38 PM: The Saviors engage. Chaos ensues.
- 8:15 PM: One of the Saviors does "something big". Terrorists retreat. (What exactly happened is still classified.)
- 8:30 PM: FPU arrives. Terrorists are gone. Saviors are gone. City is in shock.

🔍 WHO ARE AKUMA AND ANAKI?
I've been digging into these two since the attack. Information is still scarce—the FPU is being annoyingly tight-lipped— but I've pieced together what I can.

Power: Interference and Disintegration Sludge
Affiliation: Eclipse Deity Cult (suspected)
Status: AT LARGE

- Enigmatic and mysterious

What we know about Akuma:
Akuma is the brains of this operation. Everything about him screams "cult leader"—the hood, the theatrics, the obsession with rituals and the occult.
He's also incredibly powerful. His "Interference and Disintegration Sludge" ability can apparently disintegrate matter on contact. Witnesses reported him turning walls to dust.
Here's the weird part though: according to one eyewitness, when a gust of wind blew his hood off during the fight, he got flustered. Like, actually embarrassed.

What we know about Anaki:
Anaki is the muscle of the operation. While Akuma is the charismatic cult leader, Anaki is the one who actually blows things up.
His power—"Explosive and Combustive Slime Spray"—is exactly as dangerous as it sounds. He can generate and spray a slime that explodes on contact. Witnesses described buildings collapsing, cars flipping, and general mayhem.
Here's what's interesting about Anaki though: he's not a cultist. At least, not obviously. His motivation seems to be political. He wants to "crumble the government." He's an anarchist in the purest sense.
But here's the thing—he's also described as "surprisingly chill" by people who've seen him. One witness said he was respectful to a civilian he could have easily hurt.
A polite anarchist who just wants to watch the world burn???
I don't know what to make of him. He's probably dangerous. But he's not evil in the same way Akuma is. He's just... angry.

Why are these two working together?
On the surface, they seem like an odd pair. Akuma is a theatrical cult leader. Anaki is a chill anarchist. One believes in a god. The other wants to burn the government.
But here's what I think: They need each other.
- Akuma needs Anaki's power. The cult has resources and connections, but not raw destructive force. Anaki provides that.
- Anaki needs Akuma's connections. Anaki wants to take down the government, but he can't do it alone. Akuma gives him access to the cult's resources.
It's a symbiotic relationship. They're using each other. (And I bet they both think they're the one in control.)

Akuma and Anaki are dangerous. But they're not invincible.
The Saviors proved that. A group of teenagers—trained, powerful, but still kids— managed to fight them to a standstill.
That means they can be beaten. That means we have a chance.
